MS005A Alternator and Starter Test Bench for 12 V, 24 V and 48 V

The MSG Equipment MS005A supports workshop diagnostics of conventional alternators, starters and 48 V belt-driven starter-generators used in mild hybrid vehicles. Real-time current and voltage oscillograms help technicians assess unit performance.

Supported applications include 12 V Stop-Start, Mazda I-ELOOP and CAN-controlled 48 V starter-generators. Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity enable free automatic software updates. Two 12 V batteries of at least 45 Ah, special connection cables and an external printer are supplied separately. Standalone voltage regulator testing is not supported.
