Product description

The MSG Equipment MS561 PRO runs EPS steering racks, columns and EHPS pumps on the workbench by simulating vehicle operating signals. Technicians can assess current consumption, live data, DTCs and control-unit identification without reinstalling the unit in a vehicle.

Diagnostic capabilities

  • Supports CAN, CAN-FD, two independent CAN buses, FlexRay and PWM-controlled units.
  • Tests torque sensors separately from the steering rack.
  • OEM-number search, connector pinouts and dynamic CAN indication assist setup.
  • Special functions include Flash programming, parameter loading, EEPROM reading/writing, VIN changes and virginizing where supported by the specific unit.
  • Regular software updates expand diagnostic coverage.
